Award Winning Styling The Hunter Herald 6 Gas stove capitalises on the award winning styling of the Hunter Herald multi-fuel range. Creative designing offers traditional good looks; this is now combined with the most recent gas-stove technology. New Inglenook Style The inglenook version of the Herald six has longer legs and a huge canopy, ideal for filling a large inglenook fireplace. Exceptionally Realistic With a glowing red heart to the fire and moving yellow flames, the Herald 6 Gas stove offers a realistic alternative to a coal fire. No messy burning of real coal or wood, or the cleaning out afterwards, just real flames only a switch away! Open Viewing The Herald 6 Gas is one of only a few gas stoves on the market that can operate with the doors open, with nothing to obstruct the view of the fire; this stove looks even more realistic. (Although the doors do open there remains a glass panel at the front of the fire which is required to retain the efficiency of the stove). Installation Options The Herald 6 Gas is suitable for installation to a standard solid fuel Class 1 flue and all more modern Class 2 flue types. Depending on the situation, the Herald 6 Gas stove may be either rear flued or flued from the top of the stove. Numerous Style Options Choose either a traditional look with the crossed door option or a slightly more contemporary styling with the plain doors, both available with black or brass doorknob options. Then choose a Flat Top, Low Canopy or a High Canopy; there really are numerous style options. Peace of Mind For that extra peace of mind, the Herald 6 Gas features an oxy pilot to safely monitor the oxygen level in the room; should this fall below an acceptable level the stove turns itself off. Likewise with the flame failure device, this safely cuts off the gas supply should the flame be extinguished. Fully Remote** For added convenience, there is a hand-held fully remote control on the Herald 6 Gas. The remote handset can switch the stove on and off and adjust the flame picture to your liking. Should the need arise a manual over-ride ensures continued operation of the stove. Additionally a manual only option is available ** Technical note: The remote handset switches the stove on and off when on permanent pilot The Herald 6 Gas stove has a number of options and optional extras:- * Brass handles * Either decorative doors or plain doors * Matt black finish with optional dark green or metallic blue NB: Flue pipe is not provided by the manufacturer with most stoves. Exceptions to this are balanced flue gas stoves, which include a standard pipe and termination and flueless gas stoves which do not require flue pipe.
